Ibrahim Ali Khan starts shooting for Kunal Deshmukh’s sports drama ‘Diler’ in Chandigarh: Report | Hindi Movie News



Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh‘s son Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to follow their footsteps and make his foray into acting. He will be making his big Bollywood debut with Kayoze Irani’s ‘Sarzameen‘.
While his debut film is yet to release, the budding actor has already started shooting for his second film, which is a sports film titled, ‘Diler‘. The film is being directed by Kunal Deshmukh.According to a report in Hindustan Times, Ibrahim was spotted shooting for the film in Chandigarh. He will be shooting there for 10 days and the next shoot will happen in Himachal Pradesh.

The film is based on a Marathon player. While one thinks of a sports drama, the first thought is about it being a biopic. However, the report clarifes that’s not the case. According to reports, from what is being discussed, it’s a fictional story about an athlete who does not take his talent seriously, until life makes his realise that he has taken things for granted. And there on, began his journey to be successful.

As far as other cast is concerned, Ibrahim reportedly shot with a couple of junior artistes as it was kind of a demo shoot to see how things are turning out with the director and actors. The report added that the scenes that have been shot so far had no big actors as such. Things will unveil with time.

The report also went on to add that the young actor looks exactly like Saif and even when he acts, there is stark resemblance with his father in terms of his mannerism, expressions and reactions.

Regarding his debut project “Sarzameen,” the release date is yet to be announced. However, there are reports indicating that Orry will be portraying the character of a terrorist in the film. The movie also stars actors Kajol and Prithviraj in significant roles.
