Alia Bhatt reveals why she wore her wedding saree for the National Awards, drops pictures with Ranbir Kapoor, Allu Arjun, Kriti Sanon – Pics inside | Hindi Movie News



Alia Bhatt left everyone impressed as she opted to wear her wedding saree to receive a big honour, her first National Award today. Alia was awarded the ‘Best Actress’ for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi‘ and she shared her award with Kriti Sanon who won it for ‘Mimi’. Alia was accompanied by husband Ranbir Kapoorwho was cheering for her. Alia styled her Sabyasachi wedding saree differently this time around.She tied her hair into a bun and added white roses as hair accessory.
The actress made a stunning statement and netizens were left impressed. She set an inspiration by giving out a message to everyone that it’s okay to repeat your clothes. Alia shared a picture from today and wrote, “A special day calls for a special outfit. And sometimes…that outfit is already right here. What’s special once can be special again and again:) #rewear #reuse #repeat”
Alia also shared some pictures on her timeline of getting her award from President Droupadi Murmu. Her post also includes photos with Allu Arjun, Kriti Sanon and husband Ranbir. She expressed, “A photo, a moment, a memory for life 🤍”

Meanwhile, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan and mom-in-law Neetu Kapoor were really proud for her and showered love on social media. Soni shared a video of Alia receiving her award and she wrote, “Congratulations my darling @aliaabhatt on your National Award … it’s all due to your hard work and dedication to your craft. Such a proud moment for us all truly. May your tribe increase! Gratitude and love ❤️ 🥇🙏🥳💥”

Neetu shared the same video and she wrote, “Proud, very very proud @aliaabhatt, god bless.”
