Sunny Deol recently met fans as his film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was re-released in theatres. He recently opened up about facing issues while releasing the film in theatres back in 2001.

The film’s sequel ‘Gadar 2’ is all set to hit cinemas on August 11. The second part also stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles. The narrative of ‘Gadar 2’ will be set in the 1971 war of India and Pakistan. It will feature the journey of Tara Singh, who travels to Pakistan to bring his son Charanjeet back to India. Directed by Anil Sharma, ‘Gadar 2’ also stars Gaurav Chopra, Anil George, Simrat Kaur and Mir Sarwar.
