Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush released on June 16 amidst much fanfare. There were long queues of fans outside cinema halls to enter for their respective shows. Some theaters saw huge cut out posters of Prabhas put up and chants of Jai Shree Ram were being heard in the cinema halls.
However, it looks like not everyone is happy with the final outcome of the film and have been majorly disappointed.As per Box Office India, Adipurush minted Rs 36 crore on day 1 making it the third biggest opening for a south actor, whereas the first two in the list are sequels of extremely successful films.But even with this outcome at the box office, the film has been on the receiving end of mixed reviews and heavy trolling from the netizens.
