Kriti Sanon to screen Adipurush for students of her alma mater amid severe backlash: Report | Hindi Movie News

Adipurush may have been facing nationwide protests over its dialogues, poor VFX and misrepresentation of Ramayana, but Kriti Sanon has stayed motivated. She has decided to show the Om Raut directorial to the students of her alma mater, Delhi Public School, R K Puram. She will also be accompanied by her family members for the screening.
According to an entertainment portal, Kritihas booked a show at a Delhi multiplex on Wednesday, June 21.She believes that Adipurush, which is based on the epic Ramayana, would be enjoyed by children.
While the exact number of students is not known, the auditorium is a 300-seater and one can expect a huge turnout. The report states that the students are also excited as they will be watching the film of their alumni. It is being said that Kriti will also interact with the students and all arrangements have been made by the multiplex team to ensure a smooth screening.Meanwhile, Adipurush has witnessed a major drop in its box office collection owing to heavy criticism. In the wake of the backlash, the film’s dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla has said that the makers would revise some of the dialogues and the changes will be incorporated in the movie in a week.
On the other hand, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanded a ban on Adipurush by calling the film a complete disaster of our faith in Shri Ram and Ramayana.
