Vijay Varma clarifies it’s not his Cannes debut and drops throwback picture from 2013, fans think he looks like Johnny Depp
Vijay Varma is clearly growing by the day and establishing himself as one of the most talented actors we have. The actor who is getting a lot of accolades for his latest OTT release, ‘Dahaad’ is going to be at the Cannes Film Festival 2023.
Vijay has been invited at the prestigious festival by the Indian ministry to represent our country there. The actor was seen at the airport last night as he flew off for the Cannes. A news portal had reported that this is Vijay’s debut at Cannes. But Vijay re-shared this report and clarified that this is NOT his debut at Cannes. The actor was present at the festival in 2013 for his film ‘Monsoon Shootout’.
The ‘Darlings’ actor wrote, “Not my first time. First time was in 2013 with my film Monsoon Shootout. I’m going after a decade 🕺🏻😎” He also shared a picture which revealed his look a decade ago.

After ‘Darlings’ and ‘Dahaad’, Vijay will be seen next in ‘The Devotion Of Suspect X’ with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat. The Cannes Film Festival is set to kick-start on May 16 and will conclude on May 27.
