Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in their maiden on-screen outing, opened to mixed reviews from the audience. While most fans lapped up the fresh pairing, others found the storyline predictable and cliched. Nevertheless, the movie did brisk business at the BO and after a decent theatrical run, has finally made way to the OTT screen.

Plot
The movie, touted as a romantic comedy, is the story of Rohan Arora and Nisha Malhotra, better known as Mickey and Tinni respectively, who meet and fall passionately in love while attending a friend’s bachelorette in Spain. Once back, Mickey quickly introduces Tinni to his large-hearted, outgoing Punjabi family, who he is extremely close to. Tinni, initially reciprocative of their love, soon begins to feel overwhelmed and claustrophobic and decides to end things with Mickey. However, things do not go as planned and all hell breaks loose.
What’s new?
The fresh pairing of Ranbir and Shraddha is a sight for sore eyes and the two definitely look fab together. The movie has been shot at scenic locations in Europe and includes some melodious numbers. The lead pair of Ranbir and Shraddha puts in earnest performances. Apart from the two, Boney Kapoor makes his acting debut with the movie. Dimple Kapadia, Hasleen Kaur and Anubhav Singh Bassi too, star in key roles in the flick.
