Adah Sharma starrer The Kerala Story has maintained its strong run on its third Friday despite the release of Hollywood biggie Fast X. Looking at the box office collections, the film has surpassed the likes of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar and many others.
The film collected a solid Rs 5.75 crore nett on its Day 15, which is way better than the collections of The Kashmir Files on its third Friday, reports Box Office India.
Despite the bans, the film has managed to pull the audience to the theatres with its controversial content. The film is now screening in Tamil Nadu, but not yet in West Bengal despite the supreme court lifting the ban on the film..
If things go as predicted, The Kerala Story may beat the third week numbers of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, and has the potential to be among the highest third weeks of all time.
The film now stands at a total collection of over Rs 167 crore. The collections of The Kerala Story till date are as follows.
Week One – 77,21,00,000 apprx
Week Two – 84,25,00,000 apprx
Third Friday – 5,75,00,000
TOTAL – 1,67,21,00,000 apprx
