Sonakshi Sinha seems to have a penchant for the cop universe – she made her debut in cop film Dabangg in 2010 and now, she is playing one herself in her debut OTT show. However, do you know there is one more cop connection to her and this one involves her father Shatrughan Sinha?
Revealing more, Sonakshi recently said that during childhood, her father Shatrughan Sinha used to tell everyone that his daughter will become a cop when she grows up. Needless to say, the shotgun of Bollywood is elated that his daughter is playing a cop and Sonakshi even shared the show’s first look with her dad.
Talking about the show, Sonakshi revealed that it was a powerful role, something she had been looking for a long time. She further added that it isn’t a run-of-the-mill character, and she’s quite excited that the audience will see her in a long format for the first time.
Sonakshi has learnt bike riding, judo and action stunts for the drama series. This apart, she will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Heeramandi, which marks Sanjay’s debut on OTT. She will be part of a huge ensemble cast which includes names like Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari and Richa Chadha.
