Sanya Malhotra opens up on her role in Jawan, reveals ‘dream come true’ to share space with Shah Rukh Khan | Hindi Movie News

Sanya Malhotra, who is awaiting the release of her next ‘Kathal’, recently announced that she is a part of Atlee’s Jawan, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Now, the actor has opened up on her role in the same.

In an interview to a leading publication, the Badhaai ho actor said that she is really excited because she can finally talk about it. She also admitted that since her role was under wraps all this while, she would have to come up with weird answers everytime someone asked her about the action-drama. She further added that needless to say, it is a dream come true to work with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and added that it is a great role. She also said that just being around SRK makes her happy.
Coming back to Kathal, it has been creating a lot of buzz and Sanya opened up on the project. She said that the movie has a bit of all – comedy, drama and social message. She added that the first time she heard the script of the movie, it tugged at her heartstrings and she could not say no. She further revealed that it is a movie that you can watch with the entire family.

Kathal, co-starring Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz and Anant V Joshi amongst others, will have a direct to digital release on May 19.
