Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Guneet Monga and more: Celebs at the screening of ‘Kathal’

Sanya Malhotra starrer ‘Kathal’ has begun streaming on OTT today and the team had a screening of the film last night. The screening was attended by the cast and crew along with some other celebs who came to show their support. Sanya who headlines the project came in a printed, vibrant pant suit and looked quite stunning.
Sanya’s ‘Dangal’ co-star and friend, Fatima Sana Shaikh also came to support her. Fatima was seen in a white dress. Producer Guneet Monga posed with her husband Sunny Kapoor. One also saw other celebs like Divya Dutta at the screening. ‘Kathal’ is produced by Ekta Kapoor along with Guneet and Achin Jain.

‘Kathal’ is a satire and it’s also called ‘The Jackfruit mystery’. It also stars Anant V Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Brijendra Kala and Neha Saraf alongside Sanya in pivotal roles. Sanya plays a police office called Mahima Basor who is assigned to find a pair of jackfruits stolen from an MLA’s home.
Apart from ‘Kathal’, Sanya will be seen next in Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’. The actress has finally opened up about her role in the film in an interview recently and called it a ‘dream role’. The actress said she’s excited because she can finally speak about it because so far, she was giving all weird answers when asked if she’s a part of ‘Jawan’. She hoped to work with SRK one day and her dream has finally come true. Sanya said she can’t wait to see herself around him.
