Apart from being an actor and entrepreneur, Priyanka is a doting mother to her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Priyanka and husband Nick Jonas welcomed Malti through surrogacy last year and needless to say, she is the centre of the couple’s world.

Late last night, Priyanka took to her IG stories to share a pic of her playtime with Malti. In the pic, the mother-daughter seem to in Malti’s nursery, as we can see colourful toys strewn around. As Malti holds a cardboard box in her hand, Priyanka wondered what they should play. She captioned the image as, “Reunited… What do we have here MM?”. Before this, Priyanka’s mother was taking care of Malti as the actor attended a luxury fashion event in Venice, where she was hobnobbing with Hollywood stars like Anne Hathaway and Zendaya.

PeeCee is a complete hands on mother and often talks about the bond she shares with Malti. In a recent interview to Femina, the actor spoke about her childhood, when her parents moved to Mumbai from Bareilly just for her, and how she would do the same for Malti. She said, “At that time, I took it all completely for granted. I was like, of course it’s your parents’ job to do that. My career matters. And I didn’t even think about it until I was writing my book. And then it dawned on me like now I’m in my 40s. And that, if I were asked to give up my career and just move countries, I would do it without question for my daughter.”
