Earlier today, actor Kangana Ranaut took to her IG handle to educate her followers about Buddha Purnima, that is being celebrated in the country today. Posting a picture of Buddha, Kangana wrote, “Before he became Buddha, he was just a boy called Siddhartha. Indians never get enough credit for leading the world…” She added, “Like Shiva, like Lord Rama, like Krishna, here’s another Indian, who was bestowed upon with the ultimate realisation… the world is still shining in his glow…” Kangana then went on to say, “Bowing down to this land that has raised so many Gods… meditate on this Buddha Purnima and feel blessed to be born in Bharat.”

Kangana Ranaut as a celebrity, minces no words when it comes to presenting her views on the issues plaguing the country. As the country is in the throes of a legal debate whether to make sex marriages legal or not in India, Kangana too chipped in with her two cents on what she thinks about the same.

On a recent visit to Haridwar, the Queen actor said that a marriage is between two hearts and if two individuals have bonded, then their sexual preference should not matter and people should refrain from interfering in their personal life.
Kangana will next be seen in the movie Emergency, that she will also be directing. The flick will see her don the role of India’s former PM, late Indira Gandhi.
