Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra have been married since 2018 and since then, fans are impressed with the way Nick has also been very adaptive of PC’s Indian culture. One sees Priyanka celebrating various Indian festivals like Holi and Diwali in LA and Nick also joins her. They also perform puja on Shivratri and Priyanka has made sure to keep her desi roots intact even while living in the USA.
In a recent interview, Nick has opened up on raising their daughter Malti Marie with principles of Hinduism as well has biblical principles. He said on a podcast with Dax Shepard that he has a very deep and meaningful relationship with God but God has taken many different shapes than just what he has read in books. He confessed that now that he has married a Hindu woman, he has learnt so much more about the Hindu religion, and found it quite inspiring. Hence, they’re raising a child who is going to have elements of biblical principles and also elements from Hindu faith.
Malti visited India for the first time during the launch of NMACC and Priyanka made sure to take her to Siddhi Vinayak as it was her maiden India visit. Priyanka and Nick also made sure that her name is an amalgamation of both the cultures.
Their daughter was born in January 2022 through surrogacy. On work front, Priyanka was last seen in ‘Citadel’ and ‘Love Again’. The actress has now begun shooting for her next, ‘Heads Of State’ with John Cena and Idris Elba in London.
Her next Hindi film, ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ is slated to start by the end of the year, with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
