Naga Chaitanya says what happened in his marriage with Samantha Ruth Prabhu is ‘unfortunate’; asks people to be calm and mature about it

Naga Chaitanya recently expressed his disappointment with regard to the coverage of his divorce with Samantha Ruth Prabhu by the media. He also felt that it was wrong to speculate his relationship with a ‘third person’.
Talking about the same, Chaitanya told a news portal that he doesn’t care when they talk about his movies. However, when it comes to family-related matters, he gets hurt a little bit. According to him, it is wrong to bring some third party into it and talk about them. He also urged the media not to manipulate people.

Elaborating further, Chaitanya added that what happened in his personal life with his marriage is unfortunate. However, he has immense respect for that phase of his life. According to him, by speculating and creating rumors about it in the news reports, they are erasing that respect in the public eye. They are diminishing that respect which hurts him a lot.

The actor also added that it has been almost a year since the court has given them divorce on mutual consent. He felt sad that people are still dragging the topic just for the sake of headlines and speculating something by pulling a third person, other names and their family into this issue for no reason or no fault at all of the third party. Now that he has given a clarification, the actor hoped that people would stop speculating and just move.
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu got married in 2017 and announced their separation four years later.
