Esha Deol made everyone sweat with her breathtaking bikini avatar in Dhoom. Aditya Chopra had informed her that she will have to wear a bikini since he wanted her to look in a certain way. But Esha was not sure about it.
Speaking about her inhibitions of donning a bikini on the screen, Esha revealed that she asked for a day’s time to get permission from her mother and veteran actress Hema Malini before committing to the shot. Aditya had told her that he is giving her 6 months.
Esha said that she was scared to talk to her mother about it but when she asked if she can wear a bikini, Hema had a very calm reaction. She told her she can definitely wear a bikini because she wears it when she goes out with her friends and on holidays. She just asked her to make sure it is shot nicely.

During the same interview, Esha also talked about romantic link-ups and revealed that one of her co-actor had even proposed to marry her and asked her to quit acting thereafter. When she came home and told Hema about it, she was like ‘so sweet.’
However, Esha chose not to name the actor out of respect because she found her to be a very sweet and cute guy. She also revealed that the actor did not want to be friends with her because that broke his heart. She added that she is not friends with him anymore.
