It was back in 2007 when Deepika Padukone sauntered into the hearts of millions with her debut film Om Shanti Om. From that point onwards she has only grown stronger with films like Piku, Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani and the recent blockbuster Pathaan.
It has been 16 years since her debut and to many it would feel that she is way past her prime in the business of entertainment. But she is only making bigger bets on her career with movies like Project K and Fighter. She claims it is her husband superstar Ranveer Singh who helps her beat the notion that actresses have a shelf life which expires as soon as they get married. She stated that Ranveer has always put her, her dreams and her ambitions first.
The couple has just returned from their Bhutan holiday, where they spent most of their time going on long walks, eating and sleeping.
In Fighter, Deepika will be seen for the first time with Hrithik Roshan. The film is considered to be India’s first aerial action thriller which is directed by Pathaan director Siddharth Anand.
