Deepika Padukone began her week, reminiscing her time at the Oscars 2023.
The actress, who was one of the presenters at the award show, took to her handle to treat her fans to some behind-the-scenes pictures. Giving us all glimpses of all that goes on backstage, the actress shared photos of herself practising her lines and taking notes from the show’s director.
“And the rest is history…” she captioned the post.

Deepika was the only Bollywood actress to present at the awards show this year. She introduced the ‘Naatu Naatu’ musical performance.
The actress’ post gave way to all sorts of reactions from fans and social media users. “Why u did’t post this before? & why u are not joining MET GALA?” read a comment.

“Omgggg I can’t believe you posted this,” another fan said.
While fans rejoiced, a number of trolls took over the comments section and questioned the timing of the actress’ post. “Today is meta gala and looks like she isn’t attending and Alia Priyabka (sic) will be attending. She wants ppl to not forget her. Of all the day she is posting this today,” read a comment.

“Why are you posting so-called Oscar pic and sharing Met Gala look just before Alia’s met Gala debut,” asked another.

Alia Bhatt is set to make her debut at the Met Gala later today. Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, will return to make her mark on the red carpet.
