Athiya Shetty reacts to KL Rahul’s post about successful knee surgery and recovery | Hindi Movie News

KL Rahul shared an update on social media, stating that he has undergone a successful surgery on his thigh and “officially started his road to recovery”. Reacting to his post, Athiya Shetty shared the same on Instagram stories with a heart and an evil eye emoji.
“Hi everyone, I just got done with my surgery – it was successful. A big thank you to the doctors and medical staff for making sure I was comfortable and everything went smoothly. I’m officially on the road to recovery now. I’m determined to get back to my best and get back on the field. Onwards and upwards!” KL Rahul had shared in his post. In a recent interview, KL Rahul’s father-in-law, Suniel Shetty had stated that they don’t discuss the cricketer’s failure at home. Calling him a fighter, Suniel had stated that KL Rahul plays for the country and that they discuss everything else to take their mind off the sport.

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul got hitched in January this year at Suniel Shetty’s palatial Khandala bungalow Jahan. When asked about playing the role of a father-in-law, Suniel Shetty had said, “I think the role is not new, I am still the father. For me, my son is coming home, the ‘in-law’ chakkar should be out. I can play the role of a father well.” Suniel Shetty had also stated that the couple will host a reception post IPL.
