One of the biggest female leads in the industry today, Anushka Sharma is also an entrepreneur, wife and doting mother. Ever since the birth of daughter Vamika in 2021, Anushka and husband Virat Kohli’s life revolves around her.

Recently at an event, Anushka opened up on motherhood and said that between her husband and her, they have realised that Vamika needs her mother more. Elaborating further, the actor said that while Virat is a great father and extremely involved, Anushka needs to be around her daughter more . Hence, the couple has taken a few steps in that direction.
Adding more, the actor said that she loves acting, but the need of the hour is to slow down. She said that she is sticking to doing just one movie in a year, that will give her enough time to spend time at home and be with her daughter. She also added that even Virat does the same. She also added that she is extremely happy and content with the life she is living right now and does not have to prove a point to anyone, thus she does not seek validation.
Anushka will next be seen in Chakda ‘Xpress, that is based on the life of former cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie will have a direct to digital release.
