While Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are set to tie the knot today and make their relationship official to the world, it all started on Karan Johar’s show ‘Koffee With Karan 7’. When asked about her relationship status with Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara had said that, she’s more than close friends with Sidharth.
In the same episode, Shahid said that there’s going to be an announcement by the end of the year and it’s not a film. Earlier, Sidharth and Kiara were rumoured to tie the knot in December 2022, and later the wedding got moved to February. Meanwhile, when Kiara was asked by Karan who she would want as her bridesmaid, she took Alia Bhatt’s name. Kiara said, “I’d really love Alia Bhatt to be in my bride squad. I love her. She is so cute”. Interestingly, Kiara’s actual name is also Alia.

But Kiara’s answer left Karan shocked. He exclaimed, “In your bride squad? Marrying Sidharth Malhotra?” Kiara then realised it might be awkward for Sidharth and she said, that would be a bit too much. For the unversed, Alia and Sidharth were rumoured to be dating each other. When Sidharth had appeared ‘Koffee With Karan 7’ with Vicky Kaushal, KJo asked him the one thing he misses about his ex. To that, the actor responded, “her cat”.

Sidharth and Kiara met at the wrap up party of ‘Lust Stories’ and sparks flew between them, even before they had started shooting for ‘Shershah’. The couple has never admitted to being in love and hence, fans are waiting anxiously to get the first glimpse of the couple as husband and wife – and for them to finally make it official.
