When SRK, Deepika Padukone and John along with the film’s director Sidharth Anand interacted with the media for the first time after the film’s release, even Shah Rukh expressed the importance of Jim’s character in the film.
SRK had said, “I don’t want to sound patronising but I genuinely mean this. John’s character Jim is the backbone of ‘Pathaan’.” Now the director has also hinted at the film’s sequel. And with the end of part 1, fans were left wondering if John would be a part of the film. But Anand says it’s quite possible. The director said in an interview with Pinkvilla that Jim’s character demands a prequel. It’s a universe and you can do anything with the characters. It’s a playground. One can have a prequel to Jim. But, ‘oh wait…what if Jim is not dead?’ exclaimed the director. Sidharth said that there could be a harness that pulls a parachute.

John’s fitness has become a talking point in the film while fans can’t stop gushing over his white trunks scene.
‘Pathaan’ has now reached a worldwide total of over 500 crores and fans are still in awe. People are flocking to the theatres in huge numbers and it shall still continue to rule at the box-office for a few more days!
