In another video, Sunny can be seen being tied up to a cement pole along with his co-star presumably Simrat Kaur. Both the actors are seen being surrounded by a group of soldiers with their guns pointed at them. As Sunny gets angry, he frees himself from the pole by breaking it in half. The soldiers can be seen shocked as they witness the unbelievable.

On the occasion of Republic Day 2023, the makers of the film had shared the new poster along with its release date. In the poster, Sunny was seen holding a sledgehammer in his hand and looking intense as he walked amid a rubble in ruins.
“Hindustan zindabaad hai… zindabaad tha… aur zindabaad rahega (long live India)! This Independence Day, we bring to you the biggest sequel in Indian cinema after two decades. Gadar 2 releasing on August 11, 2023,” Sunny had tweeted.
Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 is a sequel to the 2001 drama Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The movie will also feature Anil Sharma’s son Utkarsh Sharma, who had played the role of Sunny and Amisha’s son in the first part.
