After the success of ‘Uunchai’, Anupam Kher will be seen next in ‘Shiv Shastri Balboa’. The film sees him opposite Neena Gupta. The actor has been quite excited for the film and early reviews of the movie have also been quite encouraging. Recently, while promoting the movie, the actor opened up about the boycott trend.
The actor said in an interview with DNA that, nobody goes to watch the film seeing the trend. If the film is good, nothing can sabotage it. He furher said that people even go to watch the film with a feeling of vengeance against the hate trend. Moreover, nobody gets influenced by the trend. If they like the trailer, they will go and watch it.

Kher further added that the film audience never boycotted cinema. People were asked to sit at home during the lockdown and that happened after 100 years or so, hence, the audience started looking for other means of entertainment. The OTT platforms saw a boost. So, to bring the audience out of the fear and make them come out, takes time.
‘Shiv Shastri Balboa’ is set to release on February 10. The film is directed by Ajay Venugopalan and it also stars Nargis Fakhri and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles apart from Kher and Gupta.
