Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Project K’ to be made in two parts: Report | Hindi Movie News

Deepika Padukone is riding high on the success of ‘Pathaan’ at the moment but the actress also has some really interesting projects lined-up ahead. After a big actioner like ‘Pathaan’, the actress’ next is also a very ambitious one. DP is a part of ‘Project K’ starring Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan alongside her. It is directed by Nag Ashwin.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, the film is being made in two parts. As per the report, the vision and plot of ‘Project K’ is so big that the makers have decided to make it in two parts. The first part will establish its world and the conflict while the entire drama will unfold in part two. The makers are planning it similar to ‘Baahubali’. It’s also envisioned as the biggest film of Indian cinema.

Reportedly, Amitabh Bachchan’s character in the film is on the lines of Ashwatthama from Mahabharata while Prabhas has the ‘superhero’ vibe to his role. Both the parts will be shot in one go, like the recent Mani Ratnma’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. As of now, the prep for the shoot of part 2 is on, while the post production of part 1 is in the works.
Deepika’s character in the film is being kept under wraps but its touted to be one of the greatest female characters of cinema. The film is expected to release in April 2024. Meanwhile, Prabhas has ‘Adipurish’ lined up for release this year.
