Tara Sutaria, who is rumoured to have parted ways with her beau Aadar Jain, recently opened up about self-love and what qualities she is looking for in her future partner.
Tara stated that she doesn’t necessarily or intentionally look for qualities in a partner or somebody that she is with but she has realised over the years what is important in every relationship in her life–her friendships, her family and all other relationships. According to her, life can be pretty hectic and complicated sometimes but what really helps, especially in the bad times, is a really good sense of humour.

Elaborating further, Tara added with the kind of lifestyle that she has, it’s very important to look at things with a pinch of salt and just enjoy the mundane and the crazy days. According to her, she looks for that quality more than others in all the relationships that she has in my life.

Tara went on to talk about self-love. According to her, loving yourself means so many different things to different people. To her and so many others, this might resonate because they all have gone through a pretty rough time recently when COVID hit the world. The actress feels that self-love took a new shape and meaning for all of us. All of us learnt to slow down and truly understand ourselves, begin to hear ourselves and therefore, love ourselves.

Tara added that she has always loved the Idea of love – call it utopia, idealistic – and she has always looked at love with a lot of love, but she has never really looked at herself with that sort of love so it’s taken her a lot to get to where she is today which is learning to really and truly understand every part of herself- the good, the bad, the ugly – everything that comes with being human.
