1 year of ‘Badhaai Do’: Junglee Pictures drops hilarious deleted scene from Rajummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer – WATCH | Hindi Movie News

It has been one year since Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar won hearts with the release of their film ‘Badhaai Do’. To mark the special day, production house Junglee Pictures released an entertaining scene that sadly didn’t make the final cut.
The production house dropped the 3.15-minute clip on all social media handles for fans to enjoy. “Anniversary hai toh gift toh banta hai. Humara nahin toh aapka hi sahi. Here’s a small gift for you,” read the caption.

The hilarious clip sees Rajmkummar’s character Shardul going on the run to avoid an argument with Bhumi’s character Sumi. Watch the clip below:

Besides raking in the big bucks at the box office, ‘Badhaai Do’ was a hit when it dropped into the digital space. The film reigned supreme on the No 1 spot on the top 10 most viewed releases on OTT. The film was reportedly watched for a total of 11.77 million views hours within just 10 days of its release. It retained its position on the global Top 10 list in 13 countries for two weeks.

Directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, ‘Badhaai Do’ follows Sumi and Shardul who lead dual and socially-suppressed lives as closeted members of the gay and lesbian community. They settle for a marriage of compromise to please their intrusive families and assume that this would give them cover while they pursue partners of their choice.

The film is a sequel to the National Award-winning film ‘Badhaai Ho’, which chronicled the story of a middle-aged couple, played by Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao, facing an unexpected pregnancy.
