The Vijay starrer ‘Varisu’ saw good growth at the box office. The Hindi dubbed version of the film saw growth of around 75-80% on its first Saturday, thus beating the new Bollywood release ‘Kuttey’.
The film which earned just around Rs 80 lakh on its first day, earned an estimated Rs 1.50 crore nett on Saturday, states a report on boxofficeindia.com. This growth saw ‘very good’ growth thanks to the holiday in the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan. The film also saw big jumps in the West Bengal sector and even in Tamil Nadu.

The film comfortably surpassed the collections earned by the Bollywood film ‘Kuttey’ which also released on Friday.
The total collection of ‘Varisu’ currently stands at an estimated Rs 2.25 crore nett.
