The film’s sequel has been shot and wrapped up already. ‘Gadar 2: The Katha continues’ is set to release on August 11, 2023.
Anil Sharma said to PTI that as a lead up to part 2, they’ve planned to re-release part 1 in digitally restored format the way ‘Avatar’ was re-released.
He further added that he’s happy that people are interesting in watching ‘Gadar’ again. The sequel to ‘Gadar’ had gone on floors in December 2021 and the film was supposed to be wrapped last month.
Sunny was last seen in R Balki’s ‘Chup’ and the actor will also be seen next in ‘Baap’ which sees him alongside Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty and Jackie Shroff.
