Nepotism be damned. 2023 promises a whole lot of new star-children coming in with their privileged tag and taking their own time to prove themselves.
Karan Johar will be introducing two new star kids in 2023: Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s second-born Ibrahim Ali Khan will follow his sister Sara Ali Khan into the film industry. Karan will also bring Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor to the screen. Makes you wonder: if every child of the Kapoor clan is courting stardom, what about the other professions?

Also coming up in 2023 for celluloid scrutiny straight from the star hierarchy is Boney Kapoor and Sridevi’s second daughter Khushi Kapoor. Also in the mix is Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan will also make her debut in Zoya’s film.
These star-kids are already getting multiple offers even before their debut film is ready. Agastya Nanda has already signed his second film. The rest are getting an average of 2-3 offers a week.
