Sonam Bajwa teases Shubman Gill about Sara Ali Khan being the reason behind his back-to-back hundreds | Hindi Movie News

Ever since cricketer Shubman Gill has knocked his first double century against New Zealand on Wednesday, fans have been having a field day talking about his rumoured relationship with Sara Ali Khan and Sachin Tendulkar‘s daughter Sara Tendulkar on social media. And now, Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa has joined the bandwagon.
Among several memes that have been doing the rounds, Sonam came across a tweet which had a picture of her shaking hands with Shubman. The Twitter user wondered whether Sonam was the reason behind Shubman’s back-to-back centuries. To which, Sonam cleared the air and teased Shubman about Sara saying, “Ye sara ka sara jhoot hai,” followed by a laughing emoji.

Sonam’s response received hilarious replies from her followers. While one Twitter user wrote, “Thanks for clearing out Sonam, hume toh jaise pata hi nahi tha,” another user wrote, “She clearly meant Sara Tendulkar.”

In 2022, Shubman had appeared on Sonam’s talk show where the actress grilled him about his equation with Sara Ali Khan. When Sonam asked Shubman to name the fittest female actor of Bollywood, the cricketer immediately replied, “Sara.”

When Sonam prodded Shubman further by asking, “Are you dating Sara?” To which, Shubman responded, “Maybe.” The host then asked Shubman in Punjabi, “Sara da sara sach bolo please (Please tell us the whole truth).” To which, Shubman replied, “Sara da sara sach bol reyaan (I am telling the whole truth). Maybe, maybe not.”

Shubman’s response had added more fuel to his dating rumours with Sara. On a couple of occasions, Shubman and Sara were spotted hanging out together. The onlookers had clicked their pictures and videos and soon the two became the talk of the town.
