Sonakshi Sinha says, ‘proud to be a part of this’, as ‘Dahaad’ is the first Indian web-series to premiere at Berlin Film Festival

Sonakshi Sinha will be seen next as a police officer in ‘Dahaad’. The actress will be making her web-series debut and play a police officer on the show. The show is set in a small town in Rajasthan. The show is a crime drama that takes us through the journey of Sonakshi’s character and her colleagues to unravel a curious case. A series of women are found death in public bathrooms and Sonakshi’s character takes the investigation in her hand.
It was announced today that ‘Dahaad’ is set to premiere at the Berlinale. It’s the first Indian web-series to premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. Sonakshi shared the news on Instagram and wrote, “#DAHAAD’s roar echoes through the #Berlinale as it becomes the FIRST Indian web-series to premiere at #berlininternationalfilmfestival 🙌🏼 Proud to be a part of this and cant wait for the world to hear us roar!!!”

The show also stars Vijay Varma and Gulshan Deviah. Vijay also shared the news on his Instagram and wrote, “We starting 2023 with a glorious news! #Dahaad ’s roar echoes through the #Berlinale as it becomes the first Indian web-series to premiere at the festival.”

The web-series is directed Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi.
