Priyanka Chopra does her first magazine shoot with daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, reveals why she opted for surrogacy – Deets inside | Hindi Movie News

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas announced in a statement in January 2022, that they’ve become parents to a baby via surrogacy. The couple didn’t mention the details of whether it was a boy or a girl, because their baby was premature and was taken care of in intensive child care unit.
The actress has now revealed in an interview with British Vogue why she opted for surrogacy and details of Malti’s birth. Priyanka did her first magazine photo shoot with Malti and the mother-daughter are twinning in red. The actress wrote, “Another one of our many firsts together… #MM 👶🏻❤️British Vogue, February 2023”

She also revealed in the interview that Malti was born a trimester early. Priyanka and Nick were in the operating room when she came out. She was smaller than Priyanka’s hand. So, the couple didn’t know if she would make it. But the intensive care nurses do God’s work, she added.
PC further admitted that she had medical complications and hence had to opt for a surrogate. She added it was a necessary step and she’s so grateful that she was at a position where she could do this. Priyanka further spoke about her surrogate and said she was kind, generous, lovely, funny and she took care of this precious gift for them for six months.
