ETimes also has it that Bhatt underwent a major check-up of his heart last month, wherein it was diagnosed that he might need a surgery soon.

The surgery in question was conducted 4 days ago. When contacted, Bhatt’s son Rahul confirmed that his father had been admitted earlier this week in the hospital and undergone a heart surgery. “But all’s well that ends well. He is alright now and back home. I cannot give you more details as too many people were not allowed in the hospital.”
