If you are a movie buff, yet not someone who enjoys the whole process of physically going to a theatre and watching a movie, then the OTT space is a godsend for you. Almost all movies now premiere on the OTT space a few weeks or months after their theatrical release and if you don’t mind waiting, then you can enjoy the spectacle from the comfort of your home. The latest to join the list of OTT releases is
Phone Bhoot that premiered on Prime Video earlier this week.

Phone Bhoot, starring Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi is a horror-comedy directed by Gurmmeet Singh. The flick is the story of a ghost called Ragini (Katrina). Bored of her afterlife, she approaches two self-proclaimed and amateur ghostbusters (Siddhant and Ishaan), to strike a deal with her for a business venture. Together, they begin to help lost spirits seek salvation or moksha, leading to some hilarious situations and comedy of errors.

Earlier this week, Prime Video made the official announcement of the OTT premiere on its Insta handle, featuring lead actors Ishaan and Siddhant in a video. The post read, “Look who’s here to wish you a happy (spooky) new year. #PhoneBhootOnPrime, Jan 2.”
