A viral social post recently claimed that Vineeta essays the role of Sharman Joshi’s poor more in the Bollywood film ‘3 Idiots’.

The truth is that Vineeta Singh was never a part of the Bollywood movie! Amardeep Jha played the role of Raju Rastogi aka Sharma Joshi’s mother in the 2009 film. ‘3 Idiots’ also starred Aamir Khan and R Madhavan in pivotal roles. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, this movie was a huge money spinner at the box office. Unfortunately, slight resemblance between the facial features of Vineeta Singh and Amardeep Jha are being misconstrued by notorious netizens to spread fake news.
Last year too a similar post comparing Vineeta Singh to Amardeep Jha had gone viral on social media and the businesswoman had come up with her own spoof, re-creating the scene from ‘3 Idiots’.
