Exclusive! Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ cut out removed from Chennai multiplex; here’s the reason | Tamil Movie News
‘Pathaan’ directed by Siddharth Anand, is a Hindi film that stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles, and the movie is scheduled to release on January 25 in theatres. The film has been dubbed into other regional languages and the movie is also releasing in Tamil. As the movie is having a huge buzz, a huge cut out of Shah Rukh Khan was erected outside a famous multiplex in Chennai on January 20. But on January 21, the cut out was removed by the officials as it blocked the sight of the CCTV on the premises.
The film also earlier faced severe backlash after the song Besharam Rang was released as the video had Deepika Padukone in a saffron bikini. There was also many claims that the film’s action scenes were reportedly harsh. However, defeating all the drawbacks, the movie is all set to release in theatres this month.
