Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor recently became parents to a baby girl on November 6, 2022. They announced her name Raha Kapoor soon after. Ever since Raha’s birth, the couple has been extremely protective of their daughter. A few days back, they were captured while taking a walk on the streets in the city with her, too. But in an informal meeting with the paparazzi today, Ranbir and Alia have requested the media and photographers to refrain from clicking Raha’s pictures.

Ranbir said that at least in the initial years, they want to be very protective about her. Later on, of course, when Raha grows up and she wants to be on social media, it would be her choice but as parents they would want to be as protective as they can for now. Alia further added that, they completely understand that the paparazzi is just doing their job, but at the moment, Raha is just a little girl who’s just started seeing and recognizing the face of her parents, so she isn’t even aware about the fame and the celebrity life. Hence, they wouldn’t want her pictures to be clicked at the moment. Alia confessed that Ranbir and she are nervous parents and since this is the first time that they’ve become parents, they want to be extra careful.

The couple further assured the paparazzi that they would always pose for them and never say no for pictures but it would be great if they didn’t click Raha’s pictures. Even Neetu Kapoor was present and she asked the paparazzi if they have any complaints of the star couple. The paps agreed that Neetu was everyone’s favourite.

Alia also suggested that if at all Raha gets clicked, they should hide her face with a heart emoji or any other graphic. Ranbir and Alia also revealed that they would also talk to fan clubs to not let Raha’s pictures go viral. The couple said that when they feel the time is right, they would want to cherish the moment where they introduce Raha to the world as their daughter.

While the paparazzi has obliged to the Ranbir-Alia’s requests, Alia and Ranbir showed Raha’s picture to them off-the-record and they felt she looked like Ranbir. Alia instantly quipped that she’s also gone on her. Alia shared that they are the first ones to see Raha’s pictures. The couple is extra careful and hence, is not even sharing Raha’s pictures with anyone on WhatsApp. Hence, it’s a very special moment for them to introduce Raha to the paparazzi.

On work front, Ranbir will be seen next in Luv Ranjan’s ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ in March this year. Alia’s next ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ will release in April.
