Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna complete 22 years of marital bliss today. They are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood and it has got more to do with their chemistry, fun banter and camaraderie with each other that reflects on social media and when they talk about each other publicly.
Akshay dropped a love-filled post for Twinkle this morning and he wrote, “Two imperfect people who have perfectly been stuck together since twenty-two years! Happy anniversary Tina 😘”

Several Bollywood celebs commented on their post and wished the couple. Akshay’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ co-star Tiger Shroff commented, “Happy anniversary sir wish the both of you the best years of your lives ahead❤️”
Meanwhile, now Twinkle has shared the anniversary card gifted to her by Akshay and revealed the secret behind their long-lasting marriage. She expressed, “Only he could have got me this card!22 years and it feels like our 2nd anniversary. It’s been over two decades and we have built a life that encompasses two children, our extended families, work, friends, dogs, a few goldfish, independence and stability. I suppose you don’t have to be alike to make it work. You just have to like each other enough. #bestfriends”

Twinkle who is literally a connoisseur of words and so articulate, witty and funny with her writing, left everyone impressed with her marriage tip and this caption. She certainly is ‘Mrs Funny Bones’ and perhaps despite being different what looks common between Akshay and Twinkle is ‘sense of humour’.

The couple got married in 2001 and have two children – Nitara and Aarav.
