Hansika Motwani’s mother Mona TALKS about her daughter’s wedding- Exclusive

Hansika Motwani and Sohael Kathuriya became man and wife on December 4. The wedding took place at Mundota Palace and Fort in the presence of close friends and relatives.

A lot of pictures and videos of the couple and the guests are doing the rounds of the Internet. This morning, we at ETimes spoke to Hansika’s mother, Mona.

Hansika’s mother was very emotional while talking about her daughter’s wedding. She started off by saying, “I am lucky. I am overwhelmed. It is a big moment for any parent when his/her child gets married happily.
Aur right time aur right age pe achcha ladka mil jaye, toh all I should say is God has been very kind. Haan, aaj main bahut khush hoon.”

When prodded further and asked about Hansika’s plans after marriage, Mrs Motwani said, “Hansika has seven films lined up and two web shows for Hotstar. She is going to be as busy as before.”

Is Hansika’s new home far from where she was staying with her mother? “No. It’s quite near in fact,” Mrs Motwani revealed.

Hansika is lucky that she married the man of her choice, we said. Mrs Motwani replied, “Yes, but we are also lucky that we have got related to such a nice family (Kathuriyas). It is so important to be a good human being.”

Hansika and Sohael had been dating for a few months and Sohael proposed to her in front of the Effiel Tower in Paris.

Hansika had happily posted about her wedding with Sohael. The post immediately met with response of best wishes from Mantra Bedi, Sonal Chauhan, Sundeep Kishan, Esha Gupta, Sriya Reddy and Aarti Ravi.
