For days now, there have been rumours that Aryan Khan is set to direct a movie. But an official confirmation on the same wasn’t been made. Now, the cat is finally out of the bag. Aryan has taken to Instagram and announced that he has finished writing his first script and he will also be directing the film.

Aryan wrote on Instagram, “Wrapped with the writing…can’t wait to say action 🎥”

One can see Red Chillies Entertainment written on the clapperboard hence it’s evident that Shah Rukh Khan‘s production house will produce this film. SRK commented on Aryan’s post and wrote, “Wow….thinking…believing….dreaming done, now onto dare….wish u the best for the first one. It’s always special….” But this conversation didn’t stop here. Aryan replied to his father’s comments and wrote, ”
@iamsrk Thank you! Looking forward to your surprise visits on set haha”

Shah Rukh’s response to this is epic though. He wrote, “then better keep afternoon shifts!! No early mornings….” Aryan reassured him that he will only keep night shifts. Meanwhile, Gauri Khan can’t hold her excitement as she expressed on his post, “Can’t wait to watch 😍😍😍.”

Author and screenwriter Bilal Siddiqui has commented on Aryan’s post and said, “Series abhi Baaki hai mere dost 🤫 ✍️ 👀” Does that mean Aryan is set to direct a web-series? We wait for more details on that.

As of now, the project is set to go on floors in 2023. While Aryan makes his directorial debut next year, sister Suhana Khan is also set to make her acting debut. Suhana will be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s next, ‘The Archies’ which will release on Netflix.
