“‘Aarya 3’ will be something you won’t be expecting, it will be a surprise,” says Sikandar Kher – Exclusive!

Sikander Kher who was last seen in ‘Monica O My Darling’ has begun the prep for the season 3 of ‘Aarya’. The actor got a lot of love for playing Daulat in the series and the viewers can’t wait for the next season. Sikandar wil be seen alongside Sushmita Sen who headlines the project created by Ram Madhvani. But when asked about what people can expect from the next season of Aarya, here’s what Sikandar told ETimes. “Season 3 is going to be very interesting and something that you will not be expecting. It will be quite a surprise for many. It will be quite interesting because a lot of stuff is happening now,” said Sikandar.

The actor will be seen next in ‘Monkey Man’ which is made by Dev Patel and also stars him. Sikandar also revealed details about this project and said that this experience was filled with life lessons for him. “We shot for 4 months in Indonesia in the peak of lockdown. You’re been thrown into a different world for 4 months which has been isolated from the world. We’ve all learnt our lessons. We’ve all found that we can survive. We know that the pandemic has taken a toll on people’s mental health. I know it took a toll on me. You do sometimes think you’re more fragile than you are, but you realise oh, by the grace of God, I was able to come out of this. The time has been kind to me in many ways, it hasn’t for many people so I look back at that with gratitude. So, those are the life lessons I learnt during the film,” said the actor.

Meanwhile, he also learnt a lot technically. He added, “I’ve been a sportsperson all my life but there are so many techniques I learnt, along with action from a great action director. I try to work on stuff very differently. It’s constant learning. The film is in English but it’s a medium I’ve not acted in before. More or less, it’s been a process of self-discovery. I’m always on that journey where I’m learning from everything.”


Sikandar has a number of other projects lined up like ‘Dukaan’ which is directed by Sidharth and Garima. The duo had earlier written ‘Goliyan Ki Raasleela Ramleela’ and now they’re making their directorial debut. Sikandar will also be seen in Neeraj Panday’s next.
