It is no secret that Malaika Arora is a fitness freak. The 49-year-old is a dancer, actor, host and mother, yet makes sure that keeping healthy and fit remains one of her most important priorities. The “Chaiyya Chaiyya” fame actor is often papped on her way to some sort of workout, whether it is Yoga, Pilates or the neighbourhood gym.

Recently Malaika, who swears by Yoga, posted a video of her new workout using a danda (stick) and encouraged everyone to try out this new form of yoga, that is beneficial for the entire body. Sharing a video of the same, Malaika wrote, ” Good morning everyone, I’m back with a fantastic Monday workout. This time with a prop. ❤️

Danda yoga is one of my favourite forms of yoga. Here are some reasons why:

– It’s a fabulous workout to reduce belly fat, especially the around your waist.

– It gives a great stretch to the muscles of the arms and legs and spine

– It relaxes the body thoroughly.

This week, try adding a prop to your workout, something as simple as a bottle of water or a towel. It will enhance your workout and give you a welcomed break.”

Recently, Malaika fueled engagement rumours with beau Arjun Kapoor, when she posted a happy pic with the caption, “I said Yes”. Later, she announced that she, in fact has said yes to a new show that will give her fans the chance to know her up, close and personal.
