The actor, who met Ajay Devgn at the 53rd edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI), took to his social media handles to share a cool click from the event in Goa. Looking sharp in suits, both stars posed together on the red carpet.
Sharing the photo, Kartik added a creative ‘Drishyam’ caption that read, “Vijay Salgaonkar aur Rooh Baba ne 2 Oct ko Goa mein ek sath Paav bhaaji khaayi Aur 3 oct ko Satsang karke Mumbai laut aaye Ps – paav bhaaji bohot achhi thi.”

Ajay was at the festival for the special screening of his film ‘Drishyam 2’. The sequel to the 2015 film is a remake of the hit Malayalam superhit movie of the same name with superstar Mohanlal in the lead role.
The 2015 ‘Drishyam’ was directed by the late Nishikant Kamat, who passed away in 2020 because of cirrhosis. ‘Drishyam 2’ has been directed by Abhishek Pathak, son of producer Kumar Mangat Pathak, and features the music of the southern sensation, Devi Sri Prasad.
Kartik, on the other hand, is set to perform at the festival. He will be seen shaking a leg to some of the hit numbers from his films, along with the title track of his movie ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’.
The nine-day festival kickstarted with a host of film personalities including Pankaj Tripathi, Manoj Bajpayee, Suniel Shetty, Varun Dhawan, and Sara Ali Khan in attendance at the opening ceremony. The festival runs till November 28.
