Jacqueline Fernandez gets mobbed outside court after bail hearing in extortion case; fans compare her to Rhea Chakraborty – WATCH video | Hindi Movie News

Jacqueline Fernandez, who is accused in the Rs 200 crore extortion case, was granted bail by the Patiala court in Delhi on November 15. Although she got some relief from the court, the actress got mobbed outside the courtroom.

In the video, Jacqueline is seen being escorted by her legal team as she left the court premises after her bail hearing. The actress got mobbed by the camerapersons, journalists, and bystanders jostling to get close to the actor as she tried to navigate the crowd with the help of police personnel and her lawyers.

The video was re-shared by a few of her fans on social media. Some even compared this to what happened with Rhea Chakraborty in the drug case after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. While one of the fans commented, ‘This is wrong. I don’t think this is the way to hound someone’, another one added, ‘This has such Rhea Chakraborty vibes. The way she was treated in her case was sad.’

Earlier, Jacqueline was granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh by the court in the case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar. The actor, who was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate several times in connection with the investigation, was named as an accused in the supplementary charge sheet submitted earlier this year.

The prosecution has alleged that Jacqueline benefitted from the proceeds of money obtained through dubious means by Sukesh and that she continued her association with him despite knowing about his criminal activities.
