Samantha Ruth Prabhu hit headlines when she revealed being diagnosed with Myositis recently. The actress has been undergoing treatment for the same and latest buzz suggests that Samantha has opted for Ayurvedic medicines.

Myositis is an autoimmune condition and Samantha had revealed that her doctors are confident she will recovery from it completely. According to India Glitz, the actress is taking immunity-boosting therapy in Hyderabad and is also seeking traditional Ayurvedic remedies for her medical condition. Recently, rumours were rife that Samantha had been hospitalised as her health condition had deteriorated. However, her spokesperson had denied the baseless rumours and clarified that Samantha was at home.

Speaking about her condition, Samantha had shared in October, “A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery.”

On the work front, Samantha is yet to announce her Bollywood debut, but the actress is gearing up for an action packed OTT series with Varun Dhawan.
