There are many actresses who have appeared in one movie, and then promptly retired or given up acting. But the person, I think is the most famous one-film-only actress is Gayatri Joshi. She has only acted in just one movie, and that was with Shah Rukh Khan, in Swades.

A bit of a pity, this. She was natural and excellent in Swades. She could have gone on to have a successful career in Bollywood, had she chosen to. But she decided not to do more movies for her own personal reasons.

Gayatri Joshi is a crucial man or woman, and what’s greater, she even was given a risk to romance Shah Rukh Khan. And she did general justice in all respects. At the Zee Cine Awards 2005 in which she become given the award for Best Newcomer, she claimed that she has been given a completely welcoming feeling with the aid of the industry. Twinkle Khanna, Isha Koppikar, Abbas-Mastan, Rakesh Roshan, Bhushan Kumar, Inder Kumar were amongst the guests at this wedding. She gave birth to a baby boy on September 1, 2006.
